Cookie policy

1. What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file a site asks your browser to store. Similar technologies include
localStorage, which is not a cookie but is treated the same way in this policy
because it also stores something on your device. We use both, and we keep the list short.
2. The three categories
- Necessary. Always active. They keep your session, protect the enquiry form against cross-site request forgery, and remember the choice you made in this banner. They never enable analytics or advertising storage.
- Analytics. Off until you switch them on. They let us count visits and see which pages get read.
- Marketing. Off until you switch them on. They let us measure advertising and personalise it.
3. What is actually stored
| Name | Purpose | Lifetime | Category |
|---|---|---|---|
dazzleloop_cookie_choice |
Records your cookie choice, so you are not asked again on every page. SameSite=Lax. |
180 days | Necessary |
dazzleloop_session |
Keeps the server-side session that holds the form’s security token. | Until the browser is closed | Necessary |
csrf (in the session) |
One-time token that proves the enquiry form was submitted from this site. | For the duration of the session | Necessary |
dazzleloop-theme |
Remembers whether you chose light or dark mode. Stored in localStorage, not a cookie, and never sent to the server. |
Until you clear your browser storage | Necessary |
| Google analytics and advertising cookies | Set only after you consent to the matching category. None are loaded before that. | As set by Google | Analytics / Marketing |
At the time of writing no analytics or advertising tags are installed on this site. The consent mechanism is in place so that nothing can load before you have chosen.
4. Google Consent Mode v2
Before you make a choice, all four consent signals are set to denied:
ad_storage, analytics_storage, ad_user_data and
ad_personalization. When you accept a category, only the matching signals are
updated. Declining leaves them denied.
5. Accepting, declining and changing your mind
The banner offers three equally weighted options: accept, decline, or open the settings panel and choose per category. Declining takes exactly as many clicks as accepting. You can reopen the panel at any time with the Cookie settings button in the footer. You can also delete cookies for this site in your browser settings, which resets the choice entirely.
If JavaScript is switched off, the settings panel cannot run and no optional cookies are set. Everything on this site, including the enquiry form, works in that state.

7. Legal basis
We handle personal information under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. Analytics and advertising cookies are set on the basis of your consent, which you can withdraw at any time. The wider picture is in our privacy policy.
