Terms and conditions

This document is an informational template and should be reviewed by a lawyer admitted in Australia before you rely on it for your own business.
1. The service provider and what these terms cover
The provider is Dazzle Loop, 82 N Quay, Brisbane City QLD 4000, Australia, [email protected]. These terms cover the use of dazzleloop.com and the provision of our event programmes across Australia.
2. Definitions
- Event — the occasion held at the venue and on the date agreed in writing.
- Programme — the activities, crew and equipment described for the chosen format.
- Package — the programme at the price published for that format.
- Enquiry — a message sent through the form or by email or phone, asking about availability.
- Client — the company or individual entering into the agreement.
- Chip and credit — props used in casino-styled formats. They have no monetary value of any kind.
3. The nature of the service
We provide on-site entertainment programmes. Casino-styled formats are themed entertainment and are not gambling: there are no stakes, no cash or property winnings, and no online play. Chips and credits are props. They are not sold, cannot be bought or topped up, and are never exchanged for money, goods, vouchers or other valuables. The outcome of an activity gives a participant no financial benefit of any kind.
Where a free-play machine zone is booked, each cabinet operates on its own internal credit balance. Guests pay nothing into a machine, note and coin acceptors are removed, and nothing is paid out or exchanged.
The service is not gambling within the meaning of the Interactive Gambling Act 2001 (Cth) or of the gambling legislation of the state or territory in which the event is held, because there are no stakes and no winnings of money or value, and it does not require a gambling licence.
Participation in casino-styled formats and in the free-play machine zone is limited to guests aged 18+ and over. Our responsible entertainment rules form part of these terms.
4. Using this site and the enquiry form
The site is informational. Prices, package contents, guest limits and programme hours published here are an invitation to enquire, not an offer capable of acceptance. You agree to submit accurate information through the form and not to use it for anything other than a genuine enquiry.
5. Enquiries and the agreement
An enquiry is not a booking and does not reserve a date. We respond with availability and a written offer setting out the format, the price, the run sheet, the floor plan and the venue requirements. The agreement is formed when that offer is accepted in writing. The date is reserved from that point and the deposit under clause 6.
6. Prices and payment
Each price published on this site is the final price for the whole described package, for the guest band and programme length listed with it, and it includes GST. It is not a per-person rate. A guest count below the limit does not change it.
Included: the program, crew and equipment listed with the format; planning, run sheet and one coordinator on site; transport anywhere in Australia, bump-in and bump-out; all applicable taxes, GST included.
Not included: the venue itself, with its furniture, power and amenities; catering, bar service and drinks; accommodation for your guests; gifts or giveaways for guests, and a photographer.
Payment terms: a deposit of 20-40% once the agreement is signed, the balance 5-10 days before the event. Invoices are issued in AUD and show GST separately.
7. Preparation and delivery
The client provides the venue and secures access for bump-in up to 3 hours before the event, bump-out within 1-2 hours after. Programme hours do not include either window. The client is responsible for the floor area, ceiling height, power points, unloading access, furniture and amenities stated in the written offer, and for any permission the venue requires for rigging, haze or amplified sound.
If the venue on the day does not match what was agreed — for example the floor area or the power supply is not available — we will deliver as much of the programme as can be delivered safely, and the price is unaffected.
8. Postponement and cancellation
- A change of date is possible subject to availability, and we will always try to find one.
- If the client cancels, the deposit covers the planning, crew booking and equipment holding already committed, and is not refundable. Any balance already paid is refunded.
- If we cannot deliver for a reason on our side, we offer a new date or refund everything paid, at the client’s choice.
- The precise cancellation windows and amounts for your event are stated in the written agreement.
9. Consumer rights
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies the consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 to the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth)), or any other right you have that cannot be excluded by agreement. Because an event is a service supplied on a specific date, there is no general cooling-off right; cancellation and postponement are governed by clause 8 and by the written agreement.
10. Complaints
Send complaints to [email protected] or to 82 N Quay, Brisbane City QLD 4000, Australia, describing the event, the date and what went wrong. We acknowledge within 5 working days and give a substantive response within 20 working days. If we cannot resolve it between us you may contact your state or territory consumer protection agency.
11. Liability and force majeure
We are liable for damage we cause in performing the agreement, to the extent provided by law. We are not liable for the acts of the venue, the caterer or other suppliers engaged by the client, nor for loss caused by information the client gave us that turned out to be wrong. Neither party is liable for a failure caused by an event outside its reasonable control, including severe weather, a public authority restriction, an interruption of utilities at the venue or a transport closure; in that case the parties will agree a new date or unwind the agreement without penalty.
12. Final provisions
These terms are governed by the law of Australia and the courts of Queensland have jurisdiction, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer rule that gives you a different forum. They take effect from the date at the top of this page. If we change them, the version in force when your agreement was signed continues to apply to that event.
