Privacy policy
Last updated: 16 October 2026
This document is an informational template. It describes how this site and our enquiry form work, and it should be reviewed by a lawyer admitted in Australia before you rely on it for your own business.
1. Who is responsible for your information
The entity responsible for personal information collected through dazzleloop.com is Dazzle Loop, 82 N Quay, Brisbane City QLD 4000, Australia. Email [email protected], phone +61 7 3556 5188. We handle personal information under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
2. What we collect
- Enquiry form data: your name, company if you give one, email address, phone number, the format you chose, the event date, the city or venue, guest count, an optional budget range, and anything you write in the message field.
- Correspondence: the emails, phone calls and messages that follow from your enquiry.
- Technical data: IP address, user agent, the pages requested and the time of the request, recorded by our hosting provider in server logs. Cookies and similar technologies, as set out in our cookie policy.
We do not ask for and do not want sensitive information, government identifiers or payment card details through this form.
3. Why we use it, and on what basis
- To answer your enquiry and prepare an event — because you asked us to, and in order to prepare and perform an agreement with you.
- To run and protect this site — our legitimate interest in keeping the site working, preventing abuse of the form and keeping records of what was sent.
- Analytics and advertising cookies — only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time from the cookie settings in the footer.
- Marketing emails — only if you ticked the optional box, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
- Legal and tax obligations — where we have to keep records of an agreement we actually entered into.
4. Who else sees it
- Our hosting provider, which stores the site and the server logs.
- Our email provider, which carries the enquiry to us and our reply to you.
- Google, only where you have consented to analytics or advertising cookies.
- Professional advisers and authorities, where we are required to disclose information by law.
Some of these providers may store or process data outside Australia. Where that happens we rely on the contractual protections offered by the provider and take reasonable steps to ensure your information is handled consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles.
5. How long we keep it
- An enquiry that does not lead to an agreement: up to 12 months from the last contact.
- Documentation of an agreement we did enter into: for as long as required by the applicable limitation periods and tax record-keeping rules.
- Your cookie choice: 180 days, after which you will be asked again.
- Server logs: for the retention period applied by our hosting provider.
- Marketing consent records: until you withdraw consent, plus the period needed to show that the withdrawal was actioned.
6. Your rights
You can ask us for access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it where we no longer need it, object to a particular use, ask us to restrict a use while a question is resolved, and withdraw any consent you have given. Write to [email protected] and we will respond within a reasonable period.
If you are not satisfied with how we handle a privacy question, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner, oaic.gov.au.
7. Cookies and measurement
Necessary cookies keep the session, protect the enquiry form and remember your cookie choice.
Analytics and advertising cookies are set only after you agree, and they are declined by
default. We use Google Consent Mode v2, so until you choose, ad_storage,
analytics_storage, ad_user_data and ad_personalization
are all set to denied. The full list of cookies is in the
cookie policy.
8. Google and advertising personalisation
Where you consent to advertising cookies, Google may process data as described at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites and business.safety.google/privacy.
9. Security
The site is served over HTTPS. The enquiry form is protected against cross-site request forgery and automated submission, and the data we receive is kept in mailboxes and storage with access limited to the people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, so please do not send us identity documents or payment details through the form.
10. Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal information we will update this page and the date at the top of it. Material changes affecting an ongoing project are also communicated by email.
