Dance Floors

Music-led evenings with a dressed floor: a disco night on a mirror-ball rig, and a neon night built on UV-reactive set dressing and a styled photo corner.

These are the simplest formats to run in a venue you already like. The program is light, the room does the work, and the floor stays open for the full program.

The formatsin full.

Disco Night

A straightforward music evening with the room properly dressed: a mirror-ball rig over the floor, eight wash lights on the walls, and a photo corner with a props crate. The DJ set is built for a room where guests range from 22 to 60.

A host opens the evening in two minutes and then stays out of the way. The floor is open for the full program and the photo corner needs no supervision.

What is included

  • Mirror-ball rig with a 50 cm ball, truss and two spots
  • Eight LED wash lights and two floor-mounted effect lights
  • DJ with a 2 x 600 W PA, two wireless microphones and a monitor
  • Photo corner 2.5 x 2.4 m with a sequin backdrop and a 20-item props crate
  • One host for the opening and the speeches, one coordinator on site

Adaptable inside this price: The set list is built from your own requests and a do-not-play list. Add a 30-minute dance lesson from one of our hosts inside this price, or swap the sequin backdrop for a plain one.

Neon Night

The room is dressed in UV-reactive fabric and paint-free props, lit by twelve UV fixtures and six wash lights. Guests get a wristband and a chalk marker at the door, and the walls carry a writing panel that fills up over the evening.

The format is deliberately low on programming. There is a DJ, a photo corner and a room that looks unlike any other evening in the catalogue.

What is included

  • Twelve UV fixtures, six LED wash lights, two haze units (low output)
  • UV-reactive set dressing: 18 m of fabric, three panels 2 x 1.5 m
  • Writing panel 4 x 2 m with chalk markers for 80 guests
  • DJ with a 2 x 600 W PA and two wireless microphones
  • Photo corner 2.5 x 2.4 m with a UV backdrop and a 16-item props crate

Adaptable inside this price: Haze can be dropped entirely if your venue has smoke detectors in the room. The writing panel can carry your own headline, supplied as text two weeks ahead.

How theseevenings run.

  1. The room is already dressed

Set dressing and lighting are in place before doors. Guests walk into a finished room, not a soundcheck.

  2. One host, one DJ

A host opens the evening in two minutes and hands over to the DJ. Announcements are limited to the speeches you ask for.

  3. The photo corner stays open

The styled corner runs all evening with a props crate, and needs no queue management.

Hosts and crew numbers are listed with each format above. One coordinator is on site for the whole programme, from bump-in to bump-out.

What the venueneeds for these.

  • A clear dance area of at least 60 m2 and a ceiling height of 2.6 m for the lighting truss.
  • Two 230 V power points, each on its own circuit, within 10 m of the stage position.
  • Venue permission for a mirror-ball or truss rig, and for amplified sound after 10 pm if you want it.
  • A furniture layout agreed with the venue, so the floor is not blocked by tables.

Bump-in up to 3 hours before the event, bump-out within 1-2 hours after. Programme hours do not include either.

Programmes in this category are run for adult groups; where a format is part of a mixed event with a casino-styled zone, the 18+ limit applies to that zone.

Questions

Questions weget asked.

Can we give the DJ a song list?

Yes, and a do-not-play list, which matters more. Both are collected with the run sheet, and the set is built for the age spread you tell us about rather than a generic playlist.

Will the venue allow the rig?

Usually, but it is a venue decision. A mirror-ball or truss rig needs a ceiling height of 2.6 m and the venue's permission, and amplified sound after 10 pm often needs it too. Ask them before you confirm a date, and we will supply the rig weights if they need them.

Is haze a problem for smoke detectors?

It can be, so haze is optional on the Neon Night and we drop it entirely on request. The UV fixtures and the reactive set dressing carry the look on their own.

Ask abouta date.

Tell us the date, the venue and the headcount, and we will tell you which of these two fits.
