Grand Rooms

Black-tie styling for anniversaries, end-of-year nights and award evenings: a Great Gatsby gala with an art-deco build, and a Hollywood night with a red carpet and a press-wall photo corner.

These two formats carry the most set dressing in the catalogue. They suit a room you want to transform rather than decorate, and both work with a speeches-and-awards segment in the middle.

The formatsin full.

Great Gatsby Gala

The heaviest build in the catalogue: an art-deco backdrop, fan panels, a draped entrance and table dressing for up to eight rounds. The room is finished before doors, so arrivals are part of the program.

The evening is structured around a seated middle: speeches, awards or a toast, then the furniture plan opens and the DJ takes it through to the end.

What is included

  • Art-deco backdrop 6 x 3 m, four fan panels 2.4 m, draped entrance 3 m wide
  • Table dressing for eight rounds: runners, centrepieces, 80 place cards
  • Twelve LED uplight points and two gobo spots
  • Host and DJ with a 2 x 600 W PA, three wireless microphones and a lectern
  • Photo corner 3 x 2.4 m with an art-deco frame and a 24-item props crate
  • One coordinator on site from bump-in to bump-out

Adaptable inside this price: The awards segment is scripted from your list of names at no extra cost. Centrepiece height can be lowered for a dinner room, and the backdrop takes your own branded panel if you supply artwork.

Hollywood Night

An arrivals-led evening. A 10 m red carpet, a press wall, a host announcing guests at the door and a photographer position that your own photographer can take over. Inside, the room is dressed with film-reel panels and warm uplighting.

The program is light after arrivals: a short awards segment if you want one, then music. This format suits a group that wants a dressed-up night without a long run sheet.

What is included

  • Red carpet 10 m with eight stanchions and rope
  • Press wall 4 x 2.4 m, blank for your logo or dressed with our pattern
  • Six film-reel panels, ten LED uplight points, two gobo spots
  • Host at the door for arrivals plus a DJ with a 2 x 600 W PA and two microphones
  • Props crate of 20 items and a clapperboard set for the photo corner

Adaptable inside this price: The press wall carries your logo at no extra cost if the artwork arrives two weeks out. Arrivals can run for 20 or 45 minutes depending on how your guests get to the venue.

How theseevenings run.

  1. Arrivals are staged

The carpet, the backdrop and a host at the door turn the first ten minutes into part of the program.

  2. A seated middle

Speeches, awards or a toast sit in the middle of the evening. We supply the microphones and cue the room.

  3. The floor opens

After the formal part the furniture plan opens up and the DJ takes the room through to the end.

Hosts and crew numbers are listed with each format above. One coordinator is on site for the whole programme, from bump-in to bump-out.

What the venueneeds for these.

  • A hall of at least 200 m2 with a ceiling height of 3 m for the backdrop and uplighting.
  • Four 230 V power points for lighting, sound and the photo corner.
  • A loading door of at least 120 cm for the backdrop frames, or a service lift.

Questions

Questions weget asked.

How long does the build take?

Up to 3 hours of bump-in for both formats, which is why the room is finished before doors. Make sure the venue booking gives us that window and 1-2 hours afterwards for bump-out.

Can we put our logo on the build?

Yes. The Gatsby backdrop takes a branded panel and the Hollywood press wall is designed for a logo, both at no extra cost if print-ready artwork reaches us two weeks before the event.

Do you handle the awards segment?

We script it from your list of names, supply the lectern and microphones, cue the room and keep the running order on paper. You decide who speaks and for how long.

Ask abouta date.

Tell us the date, the venue and the headcount, and we will tell you which of these two fits.
